How to prepare for an initial enquiry
Your first message does not require detailed information and creates no obligation. Below, we explain what to include initially and what to share only after a secure channel has been agreed.
01
What you can tell us straight away
- Type of assignment: individual or company due diligence, person tracing, assets, debt or a dispute.
- Countries or regions connected with the situation.
- Desired outcome: what you want to learn or confirm.
- Any critical deadlines.
- Your preferred contact method.
02
What not to send yet
- Names, dates of birth and other personal data of the parties involved.
- Documents, contracts, correspondence and statements.
- Case numbers, account numbers and identifiers.
- Any materials you consider sensitive.
03
How we assess your matter
- We assess whether the request is lawful and whether there is a potential conflict of interest.
- We assess whether we can carry out the assignment safely and to the required standard.
- We respond within 1-3 hours during business hours.
- If the matter is outside our remit, we will say so directly.
04
When a secure channel is agreed
- Once your matter has passed our initial assessment, we propose a secure communication method.
- Only then are the details discussed and materials shared.
- The method for sharing each type of document is agreed separately.
05
Documents that may be needed later
- Documents establishing a legitimate interest: a contract, court decision or power of attorney.
- Source materials relating to the matter: correspondence, statements and registry records.
- Information you have already gathered yourself.
Sensitive materials are requested only after the task has been reviewed and a secure channel has been agreed.
